15 to finish
stay on track to graduate
Being a full-time student doesn’t always mean you’re on pace to graduate in four years. The key is completing 15 credit hours each semester. It saves time, money, and stress—and helps you cross the stage right on schedule. Here’s what you need to know.
15 CREDITS X 8 SEMESTERS = 120 CREDITS (the number required to graduate at HSSU)
YOUR GOAL: 120 CREDITS = 4 YEARS = ON-TIME GRADUATION
Why 15 Credit Hours a Semester?
Taking just 12 credit hours each semester might keep your financial aid, but it won’t get you across the stage in 4 years.
HSSU is an attendance-taking institution. Missing just 2–3 classes without communication can result in administrative withdrawal, which means failing the course without a refund. Show up, check in, and stay connected!
