Answering the Call Since 1857: Welcome to The Roll Call
As we prepare to celebrate Harris-Stowe’s 170th anniversary in October 2027, the Office of Institutional Advancement is proud to launch the newly reimagined unrestricted Annual Fund: The Roll Call.
The phrase – “Roll Call” – meaning to be present and accounted for-has been an essential piece of the Hornet identity since our founding as a teacher’s college in 1857. Today, The Roll Call serves as our collective response to the financial hurdles facing our students. It provides the University with the unrestricted flexibility to immediately support our campus community. Every gift designated to The Roll Call empowers our mission:
Sustains Financial Aid
Keeps bright minds enrolled when unexpected financial gaps or outstanding tuition balance threaten their educational experience.
Recruits and Retains Faculty
Ensures our classrooms are led by world-class educators and mentors who want to teach.
Join our Annual Giving Societies
Each year, the Roll Call honors donors who step forward as philanthropic leader through their annual contributions. Their generosity allows the University the financial flexibility and the ability to respond to the most pressing needs.
All members receive exclusive communications, an invite to an annual virtual conversation with a HSSU administrator or faculty member and special recognition during Commencement and Homecoming.
