Prepare to Elevate

Friday, April 17
8:30 AM – 1:00 PM
AT&T Library, Room 104

Sponsored by the College of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities (CoSSAH) in collaboration with the Center for Teaching and Learning. The final monthly faculty development offering of the 2025-2026 academic year is a half-day symposium designed to equip faculty with practical tools to create more accessible, inclusive learning environments—especially in online spaces.

why elevate?

Elevate is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: when we invest in educators, we transform student outcomes. At Harris-Stowe State University, our faculty are more than instructors—they are architects of opportunity, shaping how students experience learning, access knowledge, and see themselves in their futures.

Elevate is our commitment to supporting that work by equipping educators with the tools, strategies, and confidence to create inclusive, engaging, and effective learning environments where every student can succeed. It reflects a deep respect for our educators’ time, expertise, and impact, and affirms that when they are supported and empowered, our students are positioned to rise, thrive, and exceed expectations.

When our educators are equipped, our students are unstoppable.
